The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will continue its extended weekday
operating hours indefinitely, following positive feedback from commuters.
This decision comes after a successful two-week pilot test conducted from
March 24 to April 4, during which a total of 61,004 passengers utilized the
additional hour of service.
Under the extended schedule, the last train departs North Avenue Station at
10:30 p.m., while the final train leaves Taft Avenue Station at 11:09 p.m.
In addition to the extended hours, MRT-3 will continue deploying an extra
train set during peak hours to accommodate more passengers, particularly
those working evening shifts.
