The 9th Philippine International Motor Show showcased the latest automotive
innovations, cutting edge vehicles already in the market and those still to
come.
The global automotive brands at the auto show hosted by the Chamber of
Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. served up vehicles that
they believe would meet the diverse needs of the local market.
Some took the opportunity to launch their newest models featuring
powertrains from ICEs to hybrids and full electrics, many with the latest
in intelligent driving systems.
Chery Auto Philippines launched the Tiggo 2Pro while also showcasing its
full lineup of SUVs and crossovers.
Highlighting the Ford Philippines booth at the PIMS was the 2025 Ford
Ranger Raptor V6, the much awaited gasoline powered of the Ranger Raptor.
Honda Cars Philippines formally launched the face-lifted 11th generation
Civic at the PIMS while also showcasing Honda technology for sustainable
and collision-free mobility.
Taking center stage at Hyundai return to the PIMS were the hybrid variants
of the Santa Fe and the Tucson, and the high performance Elantra N.
Jetour Auto Philippines made its debut at the PIMS by launching the X50 and
the T2.
Kia Philippines launched the EV9, the 2024 World Car of the Year, at the
PIMS, while also showcasing it full lineup of vehicles available locally.
Aside from showcasing its full lineup of vehicles in the country, MG
Philippines previewed the 2025 MG HS PHEV.
It was no surprise that the Rhino editions of the 3-door and the 5-door
Jimny were among the popular draws at the PIMS. Also catching the eye at
the Suzuki Philippines booth were eVX, an electric concept car.
At the PIMS, Toyota Motor Philippines exhibited groundbreaking innovations
to demonstrate Toyota's global Beyond Zero push.
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines unveiled limited edition variants of the
Montero Sport and the Xpander Cross at the PIMS.
Inspired by Mitsubishi Motors' rich history in the off-road motorsport
scene, the Montero Sport Black Series RALLIART featured striking White
Diamond with Black Roof exterior body color and RALLIART-inspired side
decals.
It also featured black front and rear under garnishes with red accents, Red
mud flaps, Black wheel arch moldings complement the vehicle's fenders.
Inside, exclusive RALLIART-branded floor mats.
The Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition Additional accessories such as the
tailgate spoiler and garnish, rear bumper protector, and mud guards.
It also comes with Ogawa camping gear, including an Ogawa tarpauline tent,
two camping chairs, and a folding table.
SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp, the official importer and distributor of
BMW in the Philippines, unveiled of the first-ever BMW i5 M60 Touring.
The new BMW i5 M60 Touring is the first all-electric premium model in its
competitive field. It features two highly integrated drive units on the
front and rear axles that together form an electric all- wheel drive with
up to 601 hp.
With M Launch Control or M Sport Boost activated, the system torque is
increased to 795 Newton-meters of torque. The top model accelerates from a
standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds and its top speed is
electronically limited to 230 kph.
