The Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange, a 3.9-kilometer, 2x2 lane subsection of
the Cavite-Laguna Expressway is now open to motorists.
The newly opened interchange provides a quicker and more convenient route
for motorists heading to Tagaytay, Silang and other parts of Cavite.
It is also expected to help decongest ttraffic on the Aguinaldo Highway,
the busiest road in Cavite.
Until further notice, motorists can use the newly opened CALAX subsection
at no added cost, according to concessionaire MPCALA Holdings Inc.
Motorists will only be charged up to the Silang East Interchange toll fee,
it added.
The CALAX will further extend to a total of 45 kilometers up to Kawit in
Cavite by 2024 and provide a link to the Manila-Cavite Expressway.
Motorists should take advantage of the free use of the newly opened
subsection of the Calax. This should make weekend motoring jaunts to
Tagaytay even more popular and convenient.
