In other Motorsports News, a busy weekend for karting saw four rounds of
racing at the Carmona Race Track of the 2022 ROK GP Super Karting Series
last September 10 and 11.
Round 4 saw Bernardus Corpina topping the 11-lap ROK Junior Race with
Danzel Waytan and Joshua David Marquez joining him on the podium.
Miguel Quinones ruled the Senior/Master/Veteran 15-lap race with Gabriel
Lucas Chan coming in second and Jesus Antonio Garcia in third.
Bernardus Corpino was back on top of the podium following the ROK Junior
Race in Round 5, this time joined there by Ethan Matthew Ong in second and
Ryan Sy in third.
Gabriel Carag was first across the finish line in the Round 5 ROK
Senior/Master/Veteran race, followed by Jesus Antonio Garcia in second and
Gabriel Lucas Chan in third.
Kraige Berdos held off the challenge of Andretti Santos to rule the 9-lap
Cadet/Cadet Novice/Expert Clubrace with Tino Zaragoza joining the duo on
the podium in third.
Will Christian Lucas dominated the Intermediate Clubrace in Round 6, Dion
Virtucio was best of the rest, coming in second, far ahead of Karis
Alexandrea in third.
Bernardus Corpino again celebrated on top of the podium following the ROK
Junior Round 6 race joined anew by Ryan Sy in second and Danzel Waytan in
third.
Also finding himself on top of the podium was Miguel Quinones after winning
the Round 6 ROK Senior/ Master/ Veteran Race. Gabriel Carag was second and
Jesus Antonio Garcia third.
Round 6 also saw the 9-lap Minirok Race taking place with Akhina Therese
Santos winning. Race-long duel with Marian Axel Nocom, with Ronaldo Alojado
finishing in third.
The Cadet/Cadet Novice/Expert Clubrace in Round was an exciting race-long
battle among three young racers. Andretti Santos bested both Rich Mark
Young and Kraige Berdos to win the race with Young coming in second and
Berdos third.
The Round 7 Intermediate Club Race was ruled by Will Christian Lucas. Karis
Alexandrea Santos came in second, just ahead of Deniel Virtucio in third.
The Minirok Race in Round 7 saw the same faces on the podium and in the
same places. Akhina Therese Santos in first, Mariano Axel Nocom second, and
Ronaldo Alojado third.
