No Loading/Unloading Violation in C5-Bagong Ilog
Being always on the road, we have noticed that the violation of the No
Loading and Unloading policy, whether of the MMDA or the local government
units, is being done by commuters and PUV drivers chronically. This week on
Public Service, we will be highlighting this problem anew.
Vehicles traversing the C5-Bagong Ilog intersection are going to and from
Pasig, Makati, and other cities from South. As seen in the video, drivers
of public utility vehicles including UV Express Service Shuttles and
jeepneys coming from Pasig are loading and unloading commuters right in
front of the signage that says "No Loading and Unloading Zone". Similarly,
commuters are seen waiting for these PUVs to load them.
This seems like a never-ending problem which needs a long-term solution.
But for the mean time, we will be asking the proper authorities regarding
this violation and how they are planning to put an end to this.
