We come once again to our weekly public service segment proudly brought to
you by Honda Cars Philippines.
This week we put on the spotlight the proliferation of illegal mode of
transportation that is commonly used now in some parts of the metro which
is the habal-habal. This is illegal because it is not a regulated mode of
public utility vehicle by the LTFRB.
But habal-habal seemed to be visible in Cainta, Rizal. We have received
photos of habal-habal motorcycles parked in front of a barangay outpost in
Junction Cainta. Mind you, traffic enforcers are even watching these
habal-habal operators calling for possible passengers.
We will definitely ask a reaction from the traffic authorities of Cainta
and see why they allow habal-habal operations in their city.
