REACTION ON SIDEWALK VENDORS ALONG SAMPALOC MANILA
In one of the past editions of our Public Service segment, we focused on a
number of sidewalk vendors who were seen operating on the streets on
Sampaloc, Manila.
According to the Metro Manila Development Authority or MMDA, the agency's
task is to conduct clearing operations only on national roads and Mabuhay
lanes. However, the MMDA says that they also clear areas that are requested
by the barangay officials.
