MOTORING TODAY

A TV program for the guy behind the wheel

MOTORING TODAY has been of service to the general public and the motorists in particular since 1987. Throughout the years, MOTORING TODAY informed, instructed and imparted valuable motorist information towards the aim of making our streets a little safer and our drivers a little better and more responsible behind the wheel. Part of the goal for which we established the show almost three decades ago was to entertain, but more satisfying than that is the feedbacks we get from our viewers about the positive impact of the show on our viewers.

In broad parlance, they call them the silent majority - we prefer to call them our weekly habitués. Though ratings show that MOTORING TODAY is not faring as dictated by norms of regular television shows, MOTORING TODAY's viewers are mostly male belonging to higher levels of the social strata, which is not to say that MOTORING TODAY is elitist. In fact the everyday motorist is now as familiar with its host, Ray Butch Gamboa's face on television as the avid racer or the businessman seriously contemplating a vehicle purchase.

MOTORING TODAY is continuously changing and adapting to the taste of the majority and the challenges of the times. We cannot just be concerned about surveys. Our primary goals are to inform and educate.

For an alternative show such as MOTORING TODAY to exist for nearly three decades is quite a feat. Our quest to do even better is still a mantra we go by.
